Hello everyone. I wanted to introduce myself. I am from Alaska and live in bush, rural Alaska to be precise. I currently do not have any cars as we live were there are no roads. It is fly in or boat in only, except in the winter we we drive four wheel drives down the ice road that is formed on the river and allows us to drive the 40 miles to our nearest hub town (town were all villages around go to shop and buy supplies, etc.). Anyway, I used to own two '48 Chevys and other cars that are later than this forum likes to hear about. I am looking forward to getting my old car fix for now by posting in and reading this forum while I am here in bush Alaska teaching. Oh and Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
welcome aboard - I lived in Kodiak for almost eight years. Few miles of paved roads, my hot rods were a 74 CJ5 with an LT-1/M21 and a Maule M5/235 on amphibs for the places where there were NO roads. dj
