(Edit: Just looked at my own picture, and that '37 has 11.50 soaped in the back window...) I got to talking with the owner for a minute in the pits. It was his first time out with this car, running a crate 502... apparently he ran a very similar car around town, Speedworld, and Beeline in the late 60's and 70's with an L88 427. Cool guy, was all smiles, and says he'll be back in the spring.

 

I had a blast!!! I married a guido I had to fist pump down the track lol.
