    Hey All,
My name is Marc, I have been lurking the boards but never posted. Seems like a great place to talks cars and get some great insight. I am new to Hot Rods, but have had the fever to dive in. I just picked up a 1950 Chevy Sedan Delivery with 283/TH350, Nova 10 bolt main and everything else is pretty much stock for $2,000. I hope I didn't overpay. Let the addiction begin and I hope to get to know you all.

My Grandfather had a Chevy sedan delivery in CA. back in the day. I will try and find a photo. He also had a Henry J and a 57 Chev. Wagon. He would drive out to CT every couple of years.
    Anyway, welcome from CT!

Welcome from chilly, or more accurately damn cold, northern Minnesota. In the 50s, a blacksmith, and a real one at that, owned one of these down the street from where I grew up. Always had a toothpick in his mouth, and the neighborhood kids, me included, would always yell "toothpick" as he drove by. He'd honk and give us a wave.

Thanks for all the warm welcomes! She has been sitting for 2 years so I have not fired her up yet. Fingers crossed.

Iron Dog, great story! Thank you for sharing.

ct1932ford, I would love to see a pic, if you find one.

Thanks again and looking forward to sharing and picking your brains.

Welcome from So. Maryland, Marc. Good luck with your Sedan Delivery. Are those Vintage Harley-Davidson tailights on there?
