The Frog Follies and the HAMB Drags are the same weekend. I have been to the Frog Follies, and HAMB Drags just blows that show away. Do the super fun and exciting.... see ya at the HAMB Drags.
Well....seeing as you go more than almost anyone I know......and KNOW HOW to have Fun better than just about anyone else I know........I will change my list........ Plan on seeing the MRS and I.........at the HAMB drags.......
You are just to cool for words. Tell the Mrs that I am really looking forward to seeing her again and introducing her to JimC's lovely wife. Knowing them both, I believe they will get along great and become fast friends.
Were going down with the Lincoln, be there sat, not sure about sunday yet. might just drive home. We must be getting old This past weekend at Billetproof, wore us down, lol But then again, Indy is closer
I won't be there, but if someone wants to drag the RRT BBQ trailer down there, Fatcat can bring it back saturday night.
I'll be there Thur, Fri, Sat and Sun. Probably in the cabriolet. Staying at home and driving back and forth. Takes an hour each way.
I will be there, I like cold beer and I will be driving my new Vans.Come by and touch them if you would like.
I was going to take my Impala to GG this year but with some dire straits....I can't afford the $50 they want. Too steep for me by far. It's too bad too since I just got the Impala from body & paint and wanted to show the flake off. Money is money though. No use even going for the swap meet if I can't even afford Bazooka bubblegum. I'll live....after all, there are other shows that I can go to once the money comes back in. Shoe, Funny stuff man.....keep blowing Heath some camel dung. See ya either at The Rumble or Ducktail. Agrv8r Mike
I can see it now your in front of Wally world pannin for money to go to the Goodguys show.Leave it at home and come out Saturday.Cant wait to see the ride. Shoe
I and my brother (WZ JUNK) will be there along with some of our "hooligan" friends. We usually park along the road between the Swapmeet area and the main event area. We plan to leave Rolla, Mo. at 7:00am on Thursday and should be at registration between 1:00-2:00. We will be bring the "****oose" with us for entertainment. We will be driving my 48' Chev pickup(dark gray primer), and plan to flat-tow my beater 26' modified behind it. I'm sure that once we get around St. Louis and on smooth open road-we'll unhook the roadster and let it breath a little. Hope to see you all there. Sam
My wife and I will be there, as always. We'll be driving our turquoise '63 Dodge convert. Our '48 Caddy convert is kinda dead in the garage (major rear end woes) so another year goes by and we use old faithful. If you see me stop by-we'll be there Friday thru Sunday. Always have cold beer in the cooler along with my wife's foo-foo Chardonnay. The real reason we are going, however, is to help, when I can, our friend Steve who is racing his Bantom-bodied flash. Look for it, grey with flourescent green flames. Let's keep our fingers crossed that the rains (which ALWAYS seem to fall on GG Indy) stay far away until late Sunday. See 'ya there!!!
Me and my pops will be around on friday and saturday for a while. Other family obligations have cancelled any after show activities, however. Wedding anniversaries tend to make the little woman angry if i miss them.
I have never beenthere as a participant, where do you register at. Do you do it at the show or at he host hotel?
Neither, it is at a hotel on 136, The Waterfront, head west on 136 off of I 465, it is exit 16a. after you p*** back under 465 it is about a 1/2 mile on your right. There will be signs and you will see all of the cars. BB
I prefer to panhandle in front of NAPA or Advance Auto Parts. They're the only people who understand.
The BSM will be on hand, featuring three states... My house will be a central gathering point on gasoline alley, full of beer, girls and plenty of room for those that need a place to sleep shower or whatever... 317.258.1548 If you need anything call me... later..
Well, cancel that- I just got word that my wife's uncle p***ed away, so we will be heading in the opposite direction to attend the funeral. He was a good guy who smoked heavily and emphysema finally got him. We'll miss him. PS-If you smoke stop now! End of lecture.
Damm the luck, stopping smoking might have saved him. Sorry about your loss. Was hoping to get together with you this weekend. Our condolonces. BB
I was definitely looking forward to meeting up with you again Bob! But, life is like this sometimes. Enjoy Indy and spin us some good tales here on the HAMB. By the way, the World of Outlaws is going to be racing at IRP, I'm told. Can't beat that for the best damn racing in town.
Sorry to hear about the uncle.... It happens to often. I'll be leaving tomarrow morning. See you there
