    no, the yard sale was to help an older lady whose husband died a year ago and she is trying to get rid of all these parts that he ac***ulated over the years. alot of caddy stuff.

    I have my own shop. In colorado spring sthough. Not had a dissatisfied customer yet. It is bound to happen. It is just how I handle it that put either put me at the top, or down below. I am trying to get the money to get ahold of my alliance membership so I can supply a few things through here. Hopefully sooner than later that is.

    Kinda fun to read it and see all the names of shops that are long gone already. But Surgeon is still running strong.

    Need to add to our body work team the themetalsurgeon

    Our cl***ic/custom car restoration company is looking for a skilled body guy that has minimum 5-10 years experience in the car restoration business (collision doesn't count).
    We are a high end finish company that requires highly skilled and motivated applicants.

    Duties include

    -body work/skim coat using filler after metal work is completed.
    -be able to block down applied fillers on various panel shapes in an acceptable amount of time of which will be discussed prior to beginning of each project.
    -Spray and block sand applied primers.
    -Compensation $25 per hour and upwards
    -this is a full time position

    We are looking for experienced, skilled, car restoration technicians to work in the cl***ic
    restoration industry. Must have own tools, have a good at***ude, and work in a team. You must be very good mechanically and be good at engineering and problem solving.

    Our company restores cl***ic and vintage cars to original and also does custom builds.

    Responsibilities
    -Build cars from the ground up, i.e. ch***is, drive train, engine dressing, dash, doors, etc.
    -Update/modernize drive train (i.e. disc brake conversions, air ride, 6V to 12V)
    -Wire electrical components (new wiring harness for complete car, add wiring for new systems such as AC or air ride)
    -Keep track of materials used
    -Clean up daily
    -Dis***emble vehicles while keeping parts and accessories organized. Also, be
    able to ***emble car efficiently.

    Bonus Skills
    -Paint prep, body work (skim coat) entire cars
    -Removing, fabricating, attaching, and aligning parts (door and hood/trunk gapping); repairing small dents; filling and sealing depressions, sanding, smoothing, and feather edging
    -Small patch repairs welded in, cleaned and prepped for bodywork

    Requirements
    -At least 5 years restoration experience
    -Knowledge of mechanics
    -Knowledge of welding techniques
    -Attention to detail
    -High School Diploma or equivalent
    -Photographs of your workmanship

    Location
    South Denver-metro, Colorado
