eBay leaf springs to drop my 59 F100? I need advice.

    if you lower the rearend, you're gonna have to notch the frame above it to make room for the axle... Can't get around that. It'd be cheaper to flip the rear axle, do a small C notch, and buy a dropped front axle with the dropped steering arms from droppedaxles.com.

    find a good local spring shop youll probabally get your springs rerworked for what the shipping would cost from some shark on evil bay
     
  4. I have purchased from the seller of those springs locally and they treated me well. Having said that, I can't imagine having to pay to ship a full set of springs!

    for the front
    http://www.droppedaxles.com/

    for the rear you should be able to flip the front hangers (free) no c notch needed good for a 4 inch drop
    and add shims to correct pinnion angle (40 bucks)

    on my 55 I put rear above the spring flip the hangers and notched the frame and i wasn't that bad at very little cost . the only thing that i did extra was rebuild the orig shackles and relined the springs and add a rear swaybar . the whole endever took about 2 weekends
