I got started in high school building a 30 'A' coupe with a warmed over '48 Merc flathead. Been hooked continuously since. Went to El Mirage and Bonneville in the early 70's and have gone back almost every year since. Finally got in the 200 MPH club in 1999 in a blown gas lakester - some fun! I saw a link to the old Bonneville pictures thread here on the HAMB and have thoroughly enjoyed the visit. Today it is mostly street rodding for me. I drive a chopped '34 Chevy Master coupe with a blown 350. Also a '57 Pontiac Super Chief 2DRHT when I need to haul passengers. Thanks for the opportunity to join you guys and gals.
