    Haven't been around in awhile.

Just thought I'd stop by and say hello to my friends (as well as those who hate me).

Right after Christmas I lost my job, lost my girl, lost my mind, went on 6 month drug & alcohol binge, pussied out on killing myself, and now that my little pity-party is over I'm trying to get my shit back together. Anyway, enough personal drama.

My 65 Riviera is still smashed up, the engine for my 59 Buick still isn't finished, the 48 F1 is for sale (cheap), and I'm broke so the Porsche is gone next week (damn I'm going to miss that car).

Fuck it, I'm still alive. I guess that's all that matters (at least that's what I keep telling myself).

I'd like to make a public apology to Jivebomber for flaking out on buying his 49 Plymouth bumpers. I'm sorry Jay, life hit me with a left hook that I never saw coming. I hope you understand. You were very cool about the whole deal and I feel like a total asshole for falling off the face of the earth.

I hope to have the deathmobile (the 59) on the road soon, and I'm going to build a bike next. Rigid shovel or pan (whichever falls in my lap first).

I sincerely hope all of you are OK. I will be soon.

    Later.

That's one of the most inspiring things I've heard in a LONG time!

  5. Glad to hear you got it out of your system. Just pack up the leftover drugs and send them to me for proper disposal.

Man just think.......if I hadn't bought these dumb things, I could have been closer to getting the Buick running! Oh well, we've all been there once or twice. Just live and learn my friend, live and learn!! I gave up my pity party after I realized my son was 4 and I couldn't remember his last two birthdays.........but I could receite to you the back label of a Jack Daniels bottle. Now I cut my soda's with water because I was stupid and my kidneys can't filter soda pop. I suck, but I'm good with it!:D Move on. What doesn't kill ya, only makes you stronger!

  10. Been there, done that. Still working at it, but things are turning around (took me years, not months). Glad to hear you're doing alright.

What's the deal on the F1? I'm going to be back in Tampa in a month or so.

  11. Sounds like you have suffered some hardships, a wise man learns from the school of hard knocks. seems you are at graduation time. Now go out and kick some ass and back on the hot rods.

Hey Jeff. Welcome back. I'm glad that you got your head back above water.

You would be surprised what you can get accomplished, and how much better the quality of your life can be, when you get rid of the negative influences in your life. People included.

Jeff my friend, I'm sorry to hear that life took a giant shit on you. It has a tendency to do that sometimes. I am relieved that you've made it through all this stuff, and are starting to get back into the swing of things. I dunno why it happened, but it happened for a reason, and I hope that you're stronger because of it.

If you need somethin or have questions bout the 59, gimme a shout, I might have info or something usable. If you want, just gimme a shout period, I don't mind.

Oh, can I have my carb back now? :D

Nope. Let me try this again.

I'm trying to post a pic of the deathmobile.

    Or 2.

    Cool. It worked.

You have just experienced the popping of my picture posting cherry.

I hope it was as special for all of you as it was for me.

This is the deathmobile, and it doesn't like you.

    It's got the magic 1970 Buick 455 (365 hp / 510 ft lbs of torque), and a th400.

It's getting a hotter cam and a new intake, as well as a complete rebuild.

Please feel free to give me some feedback on the car, or just to tell me I'm gay.

A Detroit area DJ has a line he uses every nite.
"Remember: We're not here for a long time. We're here for a good time."
I'm glad you're still here for some more good times. Congrats on gettin' back on your feet again after getting knocked down not once, but several times.
As for your Buick....it sucks. Is it for sale any time soon? I really dig them big 'ol boats.

    You're right, it does suck.

    Gas that is.

So anyone ever bought a pair of aftermarket 455 heads they would recommend, or not recommend?

Deathmobile is definitely cool, bet it scares the shit out of pedestrians.

    You, however, are gay.

    Whassup brutha Nadeem.

Sorry to disappear, but I have this thing about isolating myself when I'm in a bad way. I don't like bringing other people down.

Sorry I missed your show. I heard it was even better than the first 2, but at least now I have a car that meets the show criteria!

    Me love you long time.

If you can’t be a good example, then be a horrible warning!

    Hang in there.
