[Here's the pics. These are pics of my almost finished motor, pics of the car at Starlite Rod & Kustom, showing the extened rear qtrs andthe roofectomy.

Look at the background and you can see the '65 Impala roof that's going to be put on the car.

The last pics are 3D computer models my assitant did.

I'll get you some more pics as this thing progresses, it's going to be done in Sept.

That is pretty nice, I wish I could have found a hardtop prior to my sedan but I will make do. What motor is that?

That's a factory tri-powered 390 FE. I designed the air stacks, made a pattern from plexiglass, and had them sand cast.

The valve covers and air stacks are being powered coated between the fins with the same violetblue as the motor and car. KK

Oh. My. Lord. That is a beautiful car... can't wait to see it done. Awesome design, man. Reminds me somewhat of a Tom Daniel's concept from an old issue of Rod & Custom, but I'm pretty sure that I like yours better.

That car looks great. Love the styling, right on!!

  22. Amazing,,,,,a 54 ford is not the normal way of thinkin' when it comes to buildin' a nice custom or a traditonal styled car,,,I have been workin' on the 54 wagon for a couple of years,,,,,and already know replacement parts a few and far between!

I really like the extentions on the rear fenders!,,,keep us up to date! HRP

I had a '54 Ford 2 Dr wagon, before I found my Vicky. I was going to do essentially the same mods to my wagon, but I found the hardtop for $500 in a backyard in Culver City.

Thanks for all the reassuring compliments, this is my first attempt at building a custom.

I really wanted some feedback to make sure I was on track with this design.

Also, I like to say the the metal work that Starlite Rod & Kustom are doing is fantastic.

If you're looking for great work at reasonable prices in So Cal. Jack and Edgar, and their whole team are some of the hardest working straight shooters in the business.

I'd be glad to give anyone their info. KK

Here's a close up of the airstacks I had cast and the pattern I made.

I have a perforated aluminum screen that sets inside them I just haven't gotten around to shoot them yet. The Blue violet color from the motor is being powered coated between the fins.

The Impala roof as been set on the car today, I'm awaiting some pics, I'll keep you posted. KK
