I have been looking at this web site and they are making U_fab (log) intakes for the Hemi331,354,392 in multiples. 4x2 6x2 8x2 3 & 4 bolt. They would consider making them for other motors. I asked about the 472/500 Cad and they would be willing if there was enough interest to pay back the tooling and carry some made up after. I know that there are some on this site running the Big Cad so is there any interest?

It's lakeheaders.com and personally I prefer the header tubes fish mouthed into the "cone", it allows for better flow, but if they are a kit you can do that yourself....

What ga. steel are they, I forgot to look?

Oh, nevermind, we're talking about two different things...haha
That intake looks bad ass!!! I wonder how it would perform...

That is what I was looking at. The availability of intakes for the Cad 472/500 is limited to stock/Edelbrock 4Barrel or 429/460 Ford with an adaptor. ($375.adaptor)!!!

I'm interested, I am going to run a 425/472/500 Cad in my '29 Tudor.

  5. I just emailed 'em about a Ford 429 log manifold. I need more carbs!

That is how I started just looking at multiple carb set ups. I have been picking up 94's and I really need to do it on a Cad. That was the only problem leaving the Chevy big block world and switching over to Cad. I will call tomorrow and see what the prices are going to be. One off or quantity..

I called u-fab and got a price on a single order complete for 4/6 three flange carbs 97/94 $500. A u-fab kit that would require machining and welding $250. That is one off prices. If there is enough interest say 10 total that would be discounted around $50.
I am asking if any one else is interested? I plan on seeing them in person in July.
