Just a little lady here, from Kentucky. I am WAY outta my league here...you guys really know your stuff! But, if I'm going to humbly "Lurk & Learn", then the least I can do is say hello! Hmmm...not much to say about myself really: I used to non-pro drag race my dad's Mercury back in the day for extra spending money. I just love the old cars and hot rods and attend the yearly Carl Casper Car Show, and the Hot Rod Nationals every summer in Louisville, KY (over 11,000 hot rods to drool over). I have an old DeSoto which is two tons of fun. I take it to events every now and then. And...I wish I was a mechanic. Hope I can make up for my lack of knowledge with my endlessly irritating enthusiasm. That's about it. Great to meet everyone!
fine me - Welcome to the HAMB be open minded and you'll love it here. Very cool DeSoto nice color combo and I love those fins. There is no reason you can't become a good mechanic and work on your ride. CRUISER
Welcome aboard from Maryland. I have a little hang out called the "Grand FinAlley", so I really do LOVE THOSE FINS of yours..........

Thanks, everybody for the way nice welcome! I was admiring all of your great cars! Just Gadget - wonderful sled you have there! Gotta love that toothy bumper and mile-high shifter. Sir Woosh - looks like your "Grand FinAlley" is deFINitively the place to be! Iwanaflattie - yes indeed; those '59 Dodge's had a GREAT "getouttamyway!" front bumper! Glad to see so many young guys here too, keeping the tradition alive. Looks like I can learn a lot here.
Welcome from Irvine.........Kentucky that is. Just purchased a 59 Plymouth that is very similar to your car........
Thanks, guys! Great to see more of your wonderful cars, and some are so nearby, in and around KY too.
