What all do you need pics of? I have what I think is a 41 that has the front sheetmetal removed. Wouldn't be a big deal to get pics of that part.

  4. I need a picture of the front clip where all of the suspension bolts up. I'm building one from the frame up, piece by piece, and I'm using a different frame. I need to see just exactly where the radiator support bolts up to the crossmember so I can know what to build when I fabricate a mount.

Best I could find is this 1941 chart.
Click on the "FULL IMAGE" on the right to get a larger pic.

  6. Shop manual? An old lube chart may have a decent line drawing of the frame, too, but I don't know how much help it will be.

  7. That chart looks much like what I've got. I bought a large printed version of it from a collector, and it's just as clear as mud. :D It even had the lube chart with it. The best I could find is this grainy image off of a quick Yahoo search:

I can't make out assholes from elbows on this one. I don't know if that very center hole in the cross member is the one place where the radiator mount bolts to the frame. Real shitty thing is Packard went belly up in '58. I'm betting most of the shop manuals or factory manuals got thrown away between then and now.

They made some changes in 41 so think it would be different,

  9. Overall, the two frame dimension pictures look almost identical if they aren't. Maybe a few measurements are different. I know that the grille insert for the 1940-41 120's are the same while the grille surround is different. I still need a good picture of the front crossmember to work with. I'll just use my imagination to fill in the rest. :D

Also ya might try "Chirco" in Tucson. they sell alot of Packard stuff. I have found several that they bought to save from scrap and use for parts. If you get the info you need I'll be glad to go get pics and send them. PM me.
