I am looking to see who makes push clips that I can use on the stainless belt line trim. Previous owner sealed the holes. I would prefer to redrill new holes and use some sort of push in clip to re-mount. Any prefered vendors?? As always thanks for any and all help
I just installed the trim on my 52 last year, I thing chevs of the 40s sells the clips, If I had it to do over again, I would mount it with modern trim adhesive. I put some dents in my trim trying to get it to snap on to the clips...
I don't know how they sealed your holes, but if they didn't weld them I would just clean them out and go back with the factory stuff. I did my 50 last year. They were taped with bondo. The clips worked fine for me.
Do you think these from FASTENAL will work? Buddy sent me the link. <!-- Product Thumbnail --><!--determine image size--><!--/determine image size--> <!-- style="margin:24.66666666666667px 0.0px" --> <!-- /Hidden container --> <!-- /Highslide gallery --> <!-- End Product Thumbnail --> GM: 1244839
I got mine for Bobs cl***ic chevy, came as a kit for the whole belt line, but the same clips are used in other places also. MrC.

These guys are local to me and all of my car-guy friends have great experiences with them. Give them a call-they will most likely have what you need. http://www.justclippsauto.com/
