Serpentine for 371 Olds

Anyone know of source for a serpentine belt and pullys for a 57 371 Olds engine?

 

How do you even run it so it runs the water pump the right way? Tensioner? You'd probably have to buy the pullys and sort it out yourself, the odds are against anyone making a kit. As for the belt, you'd have to figure out how to run it, then run a string around to measure how long.

 

Why, this makes no sense, besides that you'll never find a kit to do this. It would be hideous.

I've never seen a reverse rotation water pump for an Olds, but plenty of Chevs

 

You would likely have to make iyour own reverse rotation water pump, adapt another pump to it, or run the serpentine belts like V belts, which defeats the purpose.

Not for me. A person I know just bought a 57 and was inquireing. I didn't like it either, but it's his car.

 

if he wants a serp belt system, he may have inclination to add air conditioning.

but in reality, he may as well pull the 371 and sell it to somebody that appreciates it and just stick a belly-button sbc under the hood.

 

It already has factory air. I threatened to cut off his nuts if he puts a chevy engine in it.
