Well thought I would introduce myself. I live in the frozen north. I just wanted to learn all I can about Rod culture. Thought it would be cool to learn and talk with like minded people.

I am typically a Ford guy! When it comes to the cars of old I like them all.

    Welcome.

Heck, I thought my garage was cold here in Oregon; I've been trying to finish my 34 Ford PU with the shop thermometer reading 30 degrees. That's nothing compared to Fairbanks! You can see my project in my avatar to the left.

Anyway, click on "New Posts" above to see each day's latest conversations.

Welcome aboard from down along the East coast. I drive my car all Winter long. So I can appreciate your dedication to hot rodding even when it's cold.

Hope your kids get inspired as well...........

The car scene is not bad for how far north we are. We have a few car clubs with some nice rides. If you are on FB check out fountainhead Antique Auto Museum. There are some world class cars in that collection. A few are the only survivor. Still the car scene is no where close to the lower 48 standards. Fairbanks has changed a lot grown a lot as well. We have Sam's Club, Home Depot, Lowe's, Chili's, and other box stores. Still has nice small town feel. I think the population is around 110,000 for the Borough.
