    Alright, mate--
Here's what's marked on my calendar, all these have a swap meet involved. I don't have any car shows marked if there aren't any swaps included, since I don't bother going to just shows only. There are bound to be some shows though.

Friday the 5th through Sunday the 7th is some sort of Good Guys show and swap in Pomona at the Los Angeles County Fairgrounds. I don't remember what types of cars are involved. I'm thinking it's either street rod or chevy.

Sunday the 14th is the Long Beach swap at the Veterans Memorial Stadium in Long Beach/Lakewood area

Sunday the 21st is a swap meet in Turlock at the Stanislaus County Fairgrounds

Friday the 26th through Sunday the 28th is a big swap meet in Pleasontown

Sunday the 28th is the Pomona Swap Meet at the Los Angeles County Fairgrounds in Pomona

Thanks heaps guys, lm so amped for this trip and my main 'thing to do' is to go to the drags, and the Nitro Nationals are on...ooohhhhh yeeaahhhh, my girlfreind thinks its for the 'lovely sites and things we will encounter' but im just going for the cars, sun and the beer.
The day i get there is 'the blessing of the cars' is this worth me getting off the plane and going straight there???
Are there any other events that i must go to??? Note: im not really into the shiney stuff, not that there is anything wrong with it, it just doesnt sizzle my snag.

    Again thanks for the info..

The Goodguys Pleasanton show would be worth the time. Nice location and about 3500 pre-55 cars
