Just got home, I'm transferring all of the video footage and photos now and I'll get something together and posted as soon as I can.

I think the official count was 21 classics and 2-3 modern daily drivers, either 38 or 40 people total at the peak. I had a great time today and I think everyone else did as well. There's a bunch of delicious pulled pork left over from dinner so I'll be eating well this week!

    Hmmmm.....

Trav, I would suggest that next year, you call this The Galloping Grey Beards Gathering Part II. Good thing I shaved this morning so I don't count:rolleyes:

I forgot to ask Blacktopbuddha after he paid for my lunch if he got my senior discount!!!!!

This was one nice cross section of different rides everyone showed up with. It was rather neat to see how some towns folks took a second gander as we mosy'd through their towns.

Everyone must have been doing the speed limit, because I didn't see that cop turn around and turn his lights on anyone:)

But all kidding aside, it was a great day with great people. Good to get road dust on our rides, instead of dust from sitting.

Thanks for hosting Trav, and good see you too Paul.

    Thanks for coming along!
I'm uploading some photos now, mostly of my nephews haha. There's only 57 total but there's a ton of video that I'm going through now.

Here's Mom behind the wheel of one of Dad's many trucks with Mrs. Povertyflats riding shotgun.

I didn't take many shots between here and Calvins Customs in Salina, shot a lot of video though.

    Here's some from Calvin's

My other nephew wouldn't hold still long enough to get a shot so he won't be famous today :)

Here's a laid out Merc that Calvin is working on. 5" off the top and 7" off the bottom.

Here's nephew Gannon and his new buddy Cade looking inside.

Who knew Mrs. Povertyflats was a biker?

    I think he wants one!

I apologize for not having more stills but when you're the lead car you don't get as many cool photo ops. I should have gotten in the back of the 57 wagon and shot the guys coming through the hills on KS57.

Video clips will be up as soon as I get them done.

  12. Great time had by all. Special thanks to Neal for letting me ride shotgun with him all day. Love them canopy trucks, and yes, Neal did a great job of having a very functional heater in it too! Cant wait for videos Travis.

Gannon was still talking about his new friend today :) He and Stratton are true hot rodders, and it's going to be fun to spoil my nephews as they grow up.

After a couple of days feeling like poo on a stick I'm back amongst the living! I will try to finish up the videos tonight and get the results posted. I did find some old videos from the 2010 KKOA Leadsled Spectacular Drags that I'll try to get put up as well.

finally got some time today to work on the video, didn't take all that long to throw it together as you'll see it's pretty basic.

Thanks to the Rumblejetts and Pushrod for the music you guys rule!

Hmmmmmmmmmm, I watched that video, Trav, but all I heard was "Can't drive 55" by David Lee Roth (I think) and "Gonna buy me a Mercury".

Oh wait...that musta been on my radio, behind my monitor...

    Thanx for taking me along...

Thanks everyone, next time I'll shoot some real video and put some effort into it. It was fun to just play around in iMovie to make it but I'm going to start working in Adobe Premiere Pro soon and it's a bit more involved so I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

    Merry Christmas to all!
