Realized last night that I've been a member here for 10 years and only have about 90+ posts.
here's some shots of my latest build
I'm open to any comments (good, bad or otherwise)
I've done all the work myself and will finish it myself also except for some interior parts
    Fire away...........

  2. Nice work, not a fan of the tilt column but do not know your situation or needs. I like it. I have a Tudor going together as well.

I like what you are doing with it. It's very close to what I had in mind except for a flathead instead of a nailhead. I'm going to have to follow this one. And I can't knock the tilt because this overweight old guy will probably have one too and that is a clean one.

I know about the tilt I've taken some ribbing about it but it was a swap meet deal that I couldn't pass up.
The heater is functional (living in Cold Lake pretty much warrants that)
The tank is behind the rear seat. It slides in from a door in the bottom of the floor and will be sealed completely from the inside. Theres a 1 inch bulkhead between the tank and the back of the rear seat and it's fully welded and sealed off.
funny how guys like Rolf make putting a Nailhead in a A look easy. It's not.

Love the nailhead, hate the short, taller, tallest stacks, love the car. Going to run fenders or a highboy Tudor?

Great start, nice parts, heater, nailhead, front drums....and yeah even the tilt column. Try slipping into a sedan without one. I have a beautiful straight column and banjo wheel from Limeworks and just could not make it work because I had to have my seats too far back for my long legs.

    Keep those progress pics coming!

  17. Nice job!what body style model a?

  18. Try steering wheel quick release or look at the solid column-tilting drop that Datinman made. PM Jay he will blow your mind.

I find the neatness of your shop very distracting. Very nice build. I'm currently in the Tudor build club and have nearly put to rest installing a backseat. I thinking of a rear door for mine....more cooler/baggage/picking friendly.

If I had it to do again I'd probably scrapped the rear seat idea.
you have to be gumby to get back there and it's just a bunch more work and $
