Here is a movie I just made of our trip to Japan, the 'Mooneyes Yokohama Hot Rod Custom Show' and the 'Flat4' VW Shop we visited out there! My pictures will follow later on www.AirMighty.com... Like it, share it and enjoy it!! <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/sM3xFg4GATE" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sM3xFg4GATE More to follow on www.AirMighty.com
Nice! I loved the end of the video, where the screen suddenly fills with people and then goes back to traffic. Awesome vid. Thanks.
Shin, the owner of TOA International in Yokohama Japan gave us a small tour trough his shop. He is a big fan of Type 3 VWs: On the Monday, December 5th, the day after the Yokohama Hot Rod Custom Show it was time for the 'Mooneyes Thank You Party' at the Mooneyes Café - Area 1. Everyone that was still around - including the "special guests" - where there to grab a burger and a couple of drinks while looking back at the main show. More pics can be found in the gallery on www.AirMighty.com
Thanks all! More pics of the main Yokohama Hot Rod Custom Show will follow asap! V-dubs are kinda diferent I know, but in my upinion the way both scenes work, how people enjoy, build and get togeter, looks quite the same. V-dubs is my thing I guess, but I do love the whole Kustom Kulture scene. FYI and idea, here is a picture of my mild custom '60 ragtop beetle:
you have a good point, but i would MUCH rather check out the COOL JAPAN MOONEYES FOOTAGE with some badd *** VW action from across the sea,,(did you catch the modded Hubmuller???? ),then look at ******** streetrods with radial wide white walls ....or 62 ford pickups or 4 dr 59 mercurys or ....i'm NOT complaining,,,but,,just saying!
Never understood the VW hate thing. Ok, its a traditional ReC site, but if theyre mixed in the lot i really see no problem w/ them. I dig my Vdubbers. Your car is cool w/ the US trim, but needs steels and whites! i know those are old style mags, but still.
^^ my guess is its the real one ^^^ Did you guys notice the chair made out of rods in the 1st picture? pretty amazing if you ask me.
