    It sure is a lot easier to have an opinion when we aren't the one shelling out the cash!

    Bottom line: Accept the opinions, but DO what your gut tells you that you will be happy with.

    K13's version of the one on the right was a nice touch but what you chose works good.

    Can't pick one myself either, ...on my own build I'm planning to kinda split the difference between your two options by doing just a single "U" insert in both the bench & backrest on each side of both the front & back seats, as opposed to the pleats running clear across the entire width. I plan to do it dark on light, but the opposite [as you show it] would look equally nice. ...I do rather like the pleats on the front seat apron as in your photo.

    Hey fellas, I don't want to piss on anyone's fireworks but if you look at post 35 you'll see that this is already a done deal. (And mighty fine it looks too! Congratulations on a great job.)
