Just picked up this 50 chevy coupe it came with a 250 inline six with a off 3 pot intake and a split manifold was wondering which mufflers sound best with a chevy six, origional intention was to put it together and flip it cause got it for a good price now Im thinking maybe I will keep it
the guy had this car on ebay but reserve was high I made contact with him and made a deal on it after the auction end and have more pics if anyone wants to see them
sure-we love to see pictures. don't always find a low priced good deal. might not want this to slip away. font in first post is terrible, unless you have had too many beers. I know-how many is too many?
That is one nice Chevy!! Cant answer your question on mufflers, but anything with a little rumble would sound cool to me.... Good find. Cheers....
i had a 27 inch thrush gl*** pack on my 52 chevy with a 261 straight six. sounded good not real loud but low and melow, when reved up the backfires were still a nice low melow tone sounded great. I've heard smitty sound real good too and nostalgic as well.
