Indy is only about 45 minutes down the road but unless you're going to be here next week, there's not much going on. Gasoline Alley has a couple neat shops; Bubba's in Speedway. And if you've never been to the IMS Museum, it's a must do.

I live in Anderson. You can give me a call. I PMed you with the number. There used to a lot going on in Anderson, but since General Motors left town there is not much there. Mostly retirees, all of the young people have to leave town to get decent job. A lot of empty houses and closed businesses. There are a group of guys (Piston Poppers) that meet at Frisches Big Boy on Wednesday evenings ( north side ). I have heard there is another group that meets on the south side( by Culver's and the A&W area) on Wednesdays too. Another group meets at Perkin's on Saturday mornings 8:00 AM. I go there almost every Sat., and sometimes to Frisches on Wed. There is a pretty good web site on Delco Remy history if you like that kind of thing. www.delcoremyhistory.com
