History My Vintage X-mas Greeting to All!

This picture was in my dad's photo album. Its from the Christmas Parade, which I believe was in 1949 in Tokyo, shortly before the U.S. entered the Korean War. I wish I knew more about the specifics but I dont.

from the looks of the girl they would have been from the earlier generation. boomers were 45 on.
