Hello, from Alabama !!

    I am working on a 29 or 30 chevy truck I have no ID tags to identify it ,, I just put a 79 chevy rear end under it and it runs so much better . I would love some imformation on how to tell what year my truck is ...

    Thank you David , Im new on the coputer thing. so it may take me a minute to get back to you... I bought this for a 1931 and at shows Ive seen a 31 chevy cars dash and fenders and they look nothing like my trucks dash and fenders . But a 29 looks the same I just havnt found a truck or pictures to compare . 63 impala has a 32 and it looked alot like mine .. so now I am confused on what i have ..

    I guess I was suposed to introduce myself first ..before I asked anything ,,, My name is Kelly I love working on old cars and trucks. I live in lower Alabama. And the old stuff is getting harder to find now ...When I was little they were shuved in gulley's everywhere . Not now ,,Im always looking for old stuff ,, just can't help it !!

    Welcome as well from sunny and warm northern Minnesota. Was just looking out the window of my shop. . .no snow on the ground at all and five deer just bolted by. Hope their not looking for Santa and his sleigh!

    Thank you everyone for the welcome...Rock I am originaly from Lisbon Ohio ,, the eastern part around Youngstown , salem , boardman ... born and stayed till I was about 12 or so .. some times I miss it , but at 58* right now here .. I dont miss it ..

    oahuEli Nice truck !!!! Iron Dog we have that deal here too . At night you keep away from one county road , or you go real slow or the deer will hit you car .. All the eyes light up like christmas lights . Alpo I came very close to selling my vette and getting a kit car like your body style .. I love that style ..

    pecker head we pronounce it just like it sounds we use the x .. When applying for a job ,, I get offers for the police dept. and alot of stuff we dont even have here .. and I know its from Texas... Thanks for the welcome !!

    Thanks boutlaw Nice ride !!!! When I was about 14 there was a 5 window just like that one on its side . in a gulley ,half burried in dirt .. When I was around 25 or so I desided to go and get that baby and make me a rod just like what you have and paint it yellow ,,,Well it took me an hour of digging around to figure out every thing in the dirt was gone .. Broke my heart .... Thanks for the welcome ..

    Nice car khead47 My neighbor had a 48 I guess ,, the fender was part of the door ,, It was black and he just got the interior done in red ,, Then died maybe a year later .. I think its still in the shed ,,thats been 15 -18 years ago now .. Thanks for the welcome !!

    Thanks Just Gadget!! I seen that already ... Didnt think it was nessesary the way it was handled , but its a club need to follow the rules , but it could have been me posting it the wrong place and didnt know ..If I did ,,I got lucky and he didnt see it !!! Im learning ....I know a great family in Knoxville ..Thanks for the welcome Just Gadget !!
