Check with TUGMASTER here on the HAMB. He sells Rebel kits. The best price around.

How bout Rebel wire? They are on the Hamb and are steady ready to answer questions when they come up. As I told an out of state traveling peddler one time a few years ago, That's all good but Who is going to provide the neck for me to get my grabbers on when something goes wrong?

On Wiring kits I'd say service after the sale is way more important than the price and if they have a kit that is a lot closer to what you need rather than a generic fits all kit so much the better.

Would it be Cl*** or cl***? I know English is a proper noun, but is Cl***?

It's not about English cl***...it's just about making it easier for us to read, and for you to make your point clearly.
Don't take it the wrong way!

Seriously though, when typing it's no harder to use a capital at the start of a sentence than a lower case, or to use a period or comma as needed.

But it sure makes it EASIER to read! ;) :D

I have used all three....and went back to the Rebel wire kit do to the cost and I saw no noticable gain from the other two...Not that there was anything wrong with EZ or Painless....there wasn't...

That said I have not used the customer support from any of em so I couldn't tell ya...if you know your way around a circuit you won't have any issues non-the-less.

I was looking at the one listed in Speedway's catalog but I'm going to look at the Rebel kit now after reading this. The one in Speedway is only $129

We've used American Autowire, Summit brand, and Rebel. AA is nice and has some great features like each individual wire unplugging from the fuse block, but it is a little pricey. The Summit one was a bear to install mainly because the instructions were extremely vague, and on some parts you need the instructions as each company uses a different layout. For the money, the Rebel was a great kit with easy to follow instructions, and the phone tech line is very helpful if and when needed.

So, I will buy another Rebel for my next project.

  21. excetions??? Now I'm confuzzled... Oh yeah.. I use Ez wire simply because I can get a kit just down the street from me. They work well. I have a project in the works that I am not is a great hurry for the electrical. I think I am going to give Rebel wire a try this time around. I have used Painless and Ron Francis also. Both are nice kits. I'm not sure the extra cost bought me any advantages though.

Rebel Wire is made in the USA. EZ wire is not. I also prefer the larger ATC fuses found in Rebel as opposed to the mini fuses found in EZ

Hey new guy, I think this is some good advice, a friend has used two Rebel kits and loved'em. I see you are not an Alliance member which woud give you an additional discount on this product. But always good to support an Alliance member seller. I see in your profile you are a cop, always great to have some law enforcemant folks on the forum. Best of luck with your build and thanx for being out there protecting the public bro. ~sololobo~

Ive used Saint quik wire from Fond du lac wiscansin. Havent had a problem with the one in my modified. Bought another for my 32 c-dan but its still in the box(looks good in the box). There very affordable and put together nicely.

I have used a company on ebay that sells a basic kit with fuse block for $89. Think its a 7 circuit kit. Still very simple and the cheapest I had found. Seemed no different than the painless kit I have used before.
