Official 2012 SACRAMENTO AUTORAMA / SUEDE PALACE Thread

Hi everyone , This is the official 2012 Sacramento Autorama Suede Palace thread,

The dates for the 62nd annual Sacramento Autorama are February 17-19 , 2012 . And the 'Suede Palace' is going to be another great event.

Like last year we will be having the outside "Suede Drive-In" and welcome everyone that doesn't have a car inside the event to participate. TRADITIONAL ROD & KULTURE Magazine continues to be the sponsor of the building.
My wife is reserving vendor spaces as I type this but there are some spots left . Those interested be sure to contact us asap. Applications for the car show part of the 'Suede Palace' are coming in steadily, and the building is already 1/2 full. Car Clubs like the POORBOYS , ROAD LORDS, SATANS CHAUFFEURS , ROAD KNIGHTS, ROYAL JOKERS, BEATNIKS, DAGMARS, REELERS, (just to name a few) are attending, as well as many Custom Rod shops from all over Northern California.

ENTERTAINMENT:

Friday February 17th - 'The Vintage Vandals' - Great local Rockabilly & Rock & Roll. 7:00 - 8:00 p.m.

Saturday February 18th - 'The Royal Deuces' - Amazing Rockabilly featuring Mitch Polzak - 1:00 - 2:00 p.m.
'The Inciters' - 11 piece Soul group from Santa Cruz - 3:00 - 4:00 , then again from 5:00 - 6:00 p.m.
Suede Palace Awards Ceremony with many car club's & business' participating - 6:00 p.m.
Pin Up Contest brought to us by "Mitzi & Company Photography - 7:00 p.m.

Sunday February 19th - The 'Vibrocounts' - Great local Surf band 12:00 noon - 12:30 p.m. , then again from 1:00 p.m. - 1:30 p.m.

DJ's 'Scott & Maya', My wife, and myself spinning rare vintage vinyl all weekend long.

Cant wait! This one is a bit closer to home for me,family and friends.

I am looking forward to this year. Axle and Celeste always host one helluva event. Good music, great cars, lots of old friends and usually meet a few new ones. Sent my stuff in today.

Marcus --- didnt take long to get that thing photographed. Looking forward to seeing it at Sac.

I just looked up the Inciters on YouTube and Myspace. Not quite as good as the Revtones (right Marcus?) but still have an awesome sound. Looks like Axle is doin' it again.

 

I will be there, along with my club the Mugrosos. Should be fun!

I was joking about the Inciters vs Revtones. Don't make me choose. Both bands sound great. I just had to look up what an 11 piece soul group sounded like. When I did I liked it.

 

Drugasm is always causin trouble. Can't take that guy anywhere.

I really hope i cant get my car running and re-painted in time for this show. it is my goal, i cant wait!!
