It's true, I watched mine fly out of the back of my truck today. It went about 25 yards before a nice youg lady caught it for me with the front of her honda civic. Guess I'm writing this to vent a little so if that bothers you, ya might want to check out another thread. I was heading to the machine shop to pick up my drive shaft from getting new ends, yolk, and balanced when a lady ran a red light and turned left in front of me. Hit hard enough that the back end of my O/T F-250 came off the ground and emptied the contents of the bed into the road. Muncie is trashed along with some other easier and cheaper things to replace. Truck is totaled. Good thing I have my 55 chev as a back up vehicle right? Wrong, It's sitting in the garage mid way into a smal block swap waiting on the ****** that is now in peices and the drive shaft I was trying to pick up. Oh well, the lady had insurance so this will all get fixed. Or not, fake ins. card with a phone number to a 1-800 talk line. What a day huh. No it gets better, my grand mother p***ed away un expectedly this morning as well. Damn this day! If anybody is still reading this thanks for reading, just needed to vent a little. First time I've ever said that and not sure how I feel about it but what the hell. I'm going to bed so this day will be over.

  3. Sorry to hear about your grandmother.

Any chance that the cops came and now have her information so they can go arrest her?

At least it was a fairly interesting rant.

Sorry to hear about your grandmother.

The fake-insurance thing is just far too common.

The good part: at least there wasn't a four-year-old in the M21's flight path between the truck and the Civic, and M21s aren't quite unobtanium yet.

Have a beer and go to sleep.

Say a prayer for Grandma, take care of the family in their time of need. The rest is just car parts, they can all be replaced. Sorry for your loss.

Sorry about your grandmother, and the rest of your day. Upside is, at least the M21 didn't embed its tailstock in your medulla oblongata on it's way to Civicland.

Thanks everyone for the kind words. Tried to sleep and couldn't but I'm counting wild turkeys now so it shouldn't be long. It really could have been worse and I am thankful that it wasn't. Mabey this is an opportunity in disguise and I just don't know it yet. Hopefully tomorrow I can locate a new truck and a new ****** for my 55. Thanks again guys, your replys make me glad to be a part of this forum.
