Okay, I am going a little backwards but I never posted these pics.

    Taken on May 18th:

Checking where to install the steering column on May 20th

Did not get to work on it much more until Memorial Day Weekend. Since we had no original radiator core supports and inner fender panels and we were running out of time, we ordered up a set from Bitchin. These are the WORST fitting POS fitting system I have ever seen. Like Shannon put it, someone bought a bunch of expensive equipment and told a guy off the street to start making panels. Not sure if we will keep them or make our own. We installed them for now.

Put the doors on and put a metal seat frame in and took for its first drive around the block on May 29th

Cleaned off the rest of the Bondo that was left on the car on Memorial Day and installed a cooling fan. That was as far as we got until it was time to load it unto the trailer to get it to the Goodguys show.

At the show, there was a lot of interest in the car and the chop. A lot of good comments were made on the overall look. Made us feel good. Here are some pics at the show:

Now, its time for a little break. We will continue this in about two months once Shannon catches up with other work. It will also give me time to work on my flathead and put it back in the shoebox along with my new T-5.

Thanks for all the great comments from all. Subscribe to this thread so you when we start working on it again.

killer stance! nice work guys, i dig it. tell me about the ft, end? and ft. wheel size. I am doing a 41 with mustang II and tubeular arms, and so is a buddy but his tires rub the fenders, looks like you have plenty of room. MInes not on frame yet so don't know if mine will rub or not.

Thanks, the wheels are nothing special. I think 15 X 7 with a 4 1/8 or 4 1/4 backspacing. The front end is a Heidts superride with 2" dropped spindles. The frame was made by The Roadster Shop about 10 years ago but has the stock width. Does the track width match front to rear on yours?

Well sooner became later. Been real busy so she is still on the back burner. Damnit. Was hopin to have a bench seat upholstered, and the body work done with it in primer by june. Here is a link to what I have been up to more recently

Got a few cars that have to be done by june. 58 chevy, 73 camaro ( OT I know ) and my 63 f100. Even trying to get a few moer things done to the 36 dodge truck by then. Guess we'll see.
