So last night I took teh 37 Dodge on a shake down run in order to drive it to Live Fast. It shook apart. Oh well.....more lock ***e next time. Maybe some bondo and duct tape.

It's never a good sign when you pull into the parking lot and see the unmistakable signs of a car-b-que. The car itself didn't look bad although the hood may need to be replaced. The engine compartment had a good dose of Fire Extinguisher.
The owner posts here....I hope he gives us an update. He burned his hands some, I guess while opening the hood.

It was over before I showed up. Helped another guy push the car into a spot and provided some burn cream and bandages out of my first aid kit. (Mental note to keep a fire extinguisher and first aid kit in car.

Took a mini-movie of High School Caeser. Lot of pics of the event.

I still have something close to 20 pictures to post as well as the High School Caeser movie for those who haven't heard them before.

The damn movie is 20 MBs and a ***** to find hosting for. I can't host cause my site will crater after 5 or 6 people watch it. I'm gonna try and re-size it a little and make it smaller.

BUZZARD is fine 'cept for some blistered fingertips from fire-fighting...might be tender for a coupla days. Definitely coulda been worse... more 'inconvenience' than 'disaster'... he'll trailer it back to Austin tomorrow.

On the bright side, MARCY and team came thru with a 'Hard Luck' trophy at the winners' presentation, and BUZZARD had no problem finding folks willing to keep cold Lone Star in his smoldering mitts. :D

I p***ed him on the way out and he didn't look none worse for the wear. Some burnt arm hair and fingertip bandages wrapped around a beer. :)

Thanks for the concern guys. The car is fixable, but it sux to have to fix it. The whole thing would've been completely minor if the extinguisher had been in the trunk, instead of the garage.

Can't tell ya'll how much I appreciate all of the help and support. Jasonic just left after towing me back to Austin. He's headed back to Houston to work the show. That's a long *** drive.

And Blacksix, my fingers are going to be okay. Thanks a ton for the first aid stuff right on the spot.

There's a ton more people to thank, but typing is hurting the burns. I'll post more when I can.

Oh, thanks to HankCash for stealing a fire extinguisher from the hotel to put the dang thing out.

Damn buzzard that ****s for you and the woman. Ever since I lost almost everything I owned in a fire I got extinguishers everywhere. Luckily the old ladys dad runs a fire extinguisher company so I got the hook up.

Oh and Blacksix were there any flat black cars at the show. Wow come on Texas your making me sad.

I trashed all my paint scheme drawings today.

It was going to be flat black with green scallops.

I'm going with blue or grey and something scallops.

  29. What can I say about Live Fast that has not already been said---It is a great event that Houston has needed for a long time. My son and I had a great time! Thanks Marcy for all your hard work!!

Hail Caeser! High School Caeser rocked as always. Hell of a show guys. I don't know how you did it in that heat. Hankcash was freakin me out though---everytime I saw him he would say hello in this weird ***y voice then wink at me and lick his lips. WTF :D

Buzz--I'm glad your ok and that things were not any worst. Good luck on the repairs.

Met a few other HAMBers and got to see all my friends from FlyRite and the Outkast. Talked Johnny and Kali's ear off I think but they let me hang out anyway.Blake it was good to see you and Joyce again. I really enjoyed Betty's ***s and thought she won Miss Live Fast hands down!

Blacksix---I thought I would see that Dodge pull in any minute so I could check it out and meet ya. Sorry the car didn't make it. Hope to catch up with you next time.
