Some asshole decided to bust one of my inner tail light lens. I grab one of my spares, but realize all my spares are stock 58 Ford parts. The ones I have on there are Glo-Brites, they seem to be about twice as bright. The stock Ford stuff is a darker color, and makes it look like I have a dim bulb. Is Glo-Brite still making repro stuff? If so, who's selling it? Is Epay the only hope for locating one? If not, what's the best adhesive to use to patch it back up? Superglue?
58 Ford, What model? Googled Glo-brite, found some models here.. http://home.chattanooga.net/~soule/parts/ Good Luck ... H
I had a ton of them for cars, I was selling them as pairs, perhaps I still have a few without boxes or a single in the box. Usually you can find singles on Ebay for 10 bucks or so. The glo brites fade in the sun over time, becoming pink. I prefer factory ones. Shoot me a reminder PM if I dont get back fast enough.
Snapper - 58 Fairlane, the one bastard year for taillights. They didn't have what I need, but thank you for the reply! Meester P - Thank you for the site! Desertratrodder - I found a couple on Epay, I'll be placing some bids on them. After closer inspection, I found every one of my factory ones has some type of damage to it also. If I don't get one of the Ebay ones, I'll pm you. You don't happen to have a drivers window for a 58 Fairlane tudor no-post do you? Levis Classic - I wear you all the time! Thanks for looking!
