Just joined up on the forum and wanted to introduce myself. Name is Robbie and I'm from Arkansas. Recently purchased my dream car, a 1960 2dr Brookwood wagon in great shape to be a project. Picked it up from Craig at Kiwi Kustom Upholstery out in Cali. I plan to call her "Black Betty" and will hopefully debut it at SEMA 2012. Will have a LS3 motor, black paint, flat charcoal metallic trim, silver roof and red interior (not done in rendering yet). I'm the owner of Keg Media where we are known for our Keg Garage digital renderings. Recently sold a big lifted Dodge Ram called "Head Hunter" so that I can get started on my dream build. Im new to the old car scene so Im sure I will have a lot of questions so I apologize in advance. Here is a sneak peak of the rendering and also a pic of the car in its current state.

welcome, looks like a good project, you've got to love those California cars.

  4. Welcome from Clarksville. What part of the state are you in? Other than the wheels & tires, I prefer a more traditional approach, it looks like a great beginning to your "dream car". Enjoy the h.a.m.b...

Welcome. Just sold a '60 brookwood. Be prepared. The '59 and '60 are the orphans. Some parts can be a challenge. Had fun doing mine and made money.

Yea so far I think it's all there. It's apart so I will find out as we move forward what little things I am missing here and there. I am from the Fort Smith area 1stGrumpy. I throw the Slamily Reunion Car and Truck show here in August. Thanks for the welcome everyone! I look forward to learning as much as I can from the forums about my car.
