1950ChevySuburban...i am not sure about other states but my bus was used as a school bus in california from 1947 till 1966.. then it was purchaced in 1966 when it was still original with the big flathead 6cyl by a contractor to transport migrant workers from mexico to the bay area untill the early 70's ... my uncle got it in 1973 then he used it as a private bus to get to his fishing camp.. i got it a couple of years ago, drove it to missouri while it still had the california black tags on it.. i built it into what you see now and registered it in missouri as a private bus. i hope that helps

How about pulling this behind your hot rod school bus? OK, maybe not.

When Buick uped the Nailhead to 364 ci in 1957 the 322 ci nailhead was relabled by GM as a Chevy and used in trucks mainly school buses. Cool

This is a 1960 Ford that is on my in-laws farm. Its in decent shape for how long its sat. I believe it was driven to Southern IN from MI in the late 70s or early 80s, parked in its present spot and hasn't moved since. License plate still on it from 1979 and still has the y-block in it.

Hello, this bus has injected 454, overdrive 4L80E transmission, 9" Ford rear end w 4:11.
Rear wheels are 16" x 10" with 3" backspace running 345/55-16" BFG Sport Truck radials. I had the bus at Detroit Autorama in 07 in the basment.

OK, its not really a School bus, but it is a cool bus. Top of the summit at Logans P***, otherwise known as "Going to the sun" Road in Glacier National Park in MT. My buddy, Roddermonster in his '34 sedan parked beside it.
