I've found the H.A.M.B. site many times over the years while searching for info on old cars and trucks. Most of my vehicles have been military or Crosley, so I ended up on other forums. Just recently, I was finally able to rescue a 1960 Dodge D100 from a friend who has had it parked for many years. After a couple of hours of tinkering, a new battery, front tires, brake fluid etc, it fired up. I dragged it home on a rented trailer today. The more I look at it, the more I like it....and the more I realize I will be having lots of questions about it. It used to be a standard, but somebody dropped a V8 auto into it. It has no parking brake, because when the standard transmission went away, so did the band brake (I think that is where it was). That is the only thing I see so far that has me stumped. I'll post some pictures soon. The last fun V8 American car I had was my 1965 GTO convertible in the 1970's. God, I miss that car. This truck has that great V8 rumble I have missed for so many years. Looking forward to going back. Hal
I am in Canton, CT. Took some pics of the D100 today. The neighbors like it. All I know is it isn't a Pontiac motor. H.
