I need to ship a Cad Lasal transmission to the UK and was wondering if anyone could suggest a shipper. Checked UPS the other day and the price was rediculous. Any help would be great.

  2. Find someone shipping a car or container out there & get it added to the container.

Freight companies ship smaller packages too,it doesnt have to be a complete car.
I've bought and get shipped tool chest, toolboxes,a Harley TC motor for a friend and a lot of shoebox parts from US to Finland via freight companies. The companies i've used are located in Florida and Texas,so i guess you can find something that is located closer.

Wood crate with handles or handholds on each end. If the people who have to move it around can't get a good and easy grip on the crate there is a good chance it will get dropped. I'd put a couple of cleats under it so it could be easily picked up with a hand truck too.

Build a framework inside that holds the trans solid and maybe even use a couple of bolts to bolt it in the box.
