f100 hood question?

Is there a difference in a 58 f100 hood and a 59 f100 hood? are they interchangeable?

 

They are interchangeable. If you search for pics, you can see that it is just styling differences between them. I believe that the 57 & 58 were the same and then different one's for 59 and 60.

 

Thanks i have a 59 hood 4 sae and this guy wants it but has a 58

 

hood might come close to hitting the grille on a 58 with a 59 hood.

 

Check out CJ's site in the gallery. There is a Gold 59 that has a 58 grill in it. Looks good and fits well.

 

Hi, there's definetly a difference between the two years but I'm sure they will interchnge. I like the 57 -58 hoods better, they have nicer lines and a smooth front surface as oppossed to the 59 -60 hoods with front slotted openings and only two lines on the top surface.

57-58 are the same shape other than the holes for the side emblems, 59 is one year only and 60 is one year only, they all fit 57-60
