VP is pretty damn expensive. Around here me and a lot of my friends that race buy a Chevron product called Trak Tek 111. It runs around 7.50 a gallon in your own container. VP last I looked was right in the 9 a gallon range so Im not surprised. Scot
That Track Tek is what used to be the Phillips racing fuel. Sold it at the pump in OKC and working on setting it up in Amarillo. Good stuff and significantly cheaper than VP. Funny thing is the base blend stock for both of those come from Chevron.
O... We (over here on the right handed coast) have street legal 100, wasnt sure if thats what you was talking about
We have it here in western NY at the Delta Sonic car washes. They have sold it for years now. I don't know the current price because I haven't used it for years. It's great for the street heros but not for the track.
every gas station should, not for hot rodders by any means, just because every 16 year old kid would be filling up his honda with it. profit out the *** baby!
Over the summer it was under 7 bucks a gallon, 100 octane, I throw some in my cars each spring to freshen the long winter fuel that's been sitting in the tanks. Plus it smells better than the standard 93 octane.
Ain't that the truth Doesn't matter if its horses, cars, planes , tools, boats or women- if you want to go fast its going to cost you money. Have two local stations here that sell cam II fuel. one station has 110 the other 100. 100 was about 7.00 a gallon.
Just looked up VP C12, this was one of the distributors. 5 galon can is 69.95, divide that out and its 13.99 a gallon. I sure love Trak Tek hahaha.
I sell 5 gallon drums of Sunoco race fuel and just got a call from my supplier this week saying Sunoco shut down the plant that the race fuel was coming from. He is now looking into different brands like VP.
110 octane is sold by the BP stations in Potosi and Park Hills MO. i believe it was under 6 a gallon the last time i had stopped in potosi.
