I think the phrase I'm hunting for is "murderous envy". Love that area, last time there dragged a bunch of wine back in the luggage...

Actually holed up near Palm Springs at the moment so weather's good, we're still on New Years Eve for a few more minutes...but nothing mechanically interesting going on.

  12. Good chance it could be looking at the rails and grille shell. I'm off to find the pic I had of the roadster to see...

Thommo went and he told me its owned by the same guy who owns the flathead powered maroon 32 hiboy that was built in the 60's.

either way both cars will be at the reliability run in 2 1/2 weks.

He also got the details of the banger powered 29 coupe with the q/c we were looking for.

    Great shots BTW

It looks like your cars can not go fenderless - we (U.S.) don't have that problem - is this for the whole country?Oh - great looking cars! Thanks for sharing.

Yeah, but some of those 'fenders' are the automotive equivalent of ****-floss and a wax.

I know Aus states often have very different rules on things automotive, not sure about fenders on old metal.

  16. All states require cycle guards as a minimum unfortunately. Something the authorities seem to be all over at the moment...
