Weiand Tunnel Ram SBC * ID this model *

What model is this one ?

I like it and I want to try and find one, guess on what year it was made ?

I like the lines in the lower portion and the raised lettering.

Only concern I have will my MSD7 distributor fit

Also if anyone would like to comment on the tunnel ram as a whole for a mild 400 SBC go right ahead, been speaking with a ton of guys on here and its all Helpful

 

I have one of those off my jet boat, but I don't know when they were made. Mine's for sale with the carbs, but I don't think they're rare, you should be able to find one in your area for a reasonable price with a little searching. It ran very well on the boat with a mild 355.

 

Is that off a big block or small block ?

If it wasn't polished I'd be interested

From 1979 catalog, the other style was called Dual Quad Hi-Ram.

 

Not sure if this picture will enlarge enough but this Weiand was from the early 90's but I think the one pictured has a different bolt on top
