Just had supper at the Dairyette last night.. I love it.. about that Church, well its a church thats full of church people come sunday see. I doubt they want a bunch of hot rod hoodlums adorning thier lot. Come on by the Casa (its like 5mins from the Dairyette) lets all meet up for a few then get all of us together for a cruise to the real spot... Keller's. Hell, maybe we can start making our own new years day tradition.. "Cruise to Kellers" yea thats the idea...hmmm Who else is coming ?

From 635 take I-30 east to the Belt Line / Broadway exit, turn left at the light, go under the bridge, and Taco Casa is on the right. You can't miss it.

well made it out with the little Daytona - took some photos of cars I haven't seen...

the line up of an A cpe - 442 - 50's shoe box custom and a 4x4 show the diversity of the cars...

think the cut outs on this 63 with small block 327?...was cool...

the dark blue Plymonth's paint is what my little Studie should be wearn'

I had the pleaseure of dealing with what turned out to be a cracked distributor cap when I got ready to leave the Taco Casa, but other than that it was a good show!

Stillrunners, can you tell me more about the roadster in your avitar? Or can you post a larger picture?

the little A was looking good....and with that A/C hooked up to the little banger was ready for the Texas heat...and a 40 cpe for little 39 inspiration...

I had a good time, saw some old friends, and couldn't have asked for better weather.

saw your IH - thought it was nice - ran around in a 66 1-ton panel for a while...took alooong time to get to Austin...have to load up those photos...yes - saw some car buds and we traveled over to Keller's to meet up with a few others....great day...all the best in the new year to those I missed bumping into....saw your car though...and they all looked great!

Yeah, I limped it back to the shop and had it diagnosed and fixed within about a half hour...just in time to go over to Keller's for a burger. I also found that I had a couple of cracked/broken spark plug terminals that I fixed as well.

I don't think small blocks are immune to cracked distributor caps either, are they? :)
