Hi guys I'm going to London this summer from July 2nd to August 13th just wondering if any london hambers can show me around. Any cool car shows going on? Places I HAVE to see?
There is nothing to see in London, it is old, dirty and full of English people and the cars are too small........not to mention******s, Gypsies, asylum seekers, etc....the trains run under the ground, gas (uhh petrol) is $8 a gallon blah, blah, blah.....
No problem girl .Ace cafe Executioners nite is on wed 6th of july with dj little carl it's on the A406 towards wembly everyone knows it(do you know where you are staying) classics on the common is on 27th july in harpenden herts which is on the train line from kings cross station mainly classic (english)some rods.6,7,8 August is the NASC nats at Biggleswade bedfordshire in an old stately home there is also a museum and a real old airfield and war displays. You are coming at the right time but make sure you get to the ACE i will most likely get there. If you are interested in any of the events i can help with maps and so just p.m me ....................Marq
This'll help ya! http://www.angelfire.com/rebellion/rockinbuddy/page2.html There is also a REALLY good club in London and I can't off hand remember the name of it. Maybe if I describe it some of the London tarts will know! It's underneath a strip joint, I think it's called Lady Luck Club or something. I'll go thru my stuff when I get home for ya though! xxx Brandy
I'll be staying at the University College of London. I'll be the lonely art student there getting fat from the beer and the fish and chips...
yep you need to go to Eliphants head pub in camden bout 6 pm on saturdays i'm sure there will be either swing at the Ace or rock n roll or sommit ..oh how i love to dance......Marq
If you're an art student and also enjoy metal atmosphere, would highly recommend The Intrepid Fox in Soho. May want to use restroom before or after visiting, though.
Marq...its the NSRA nats at biggleswade on the last weekend in july....or i hope it is cause i`m gonna be pretty lonely if it aint LOL Monkey
The best show is on while your here down on the South Coast at Thorney Island. See - http://www.victorywheelers.co.uk/ The website doesn't really do it justice - next to the sea on an old airfield - drag racing, car show, cruise, rockbilly, etc. Is the place youre staying near The Strand/Waterloo Bridge? Whatever - I'm down in the south London suburbs. Could probably sort a ride for you. Will pm you.
May well have a spare seat for Thorney too , let me know if I can help . Shame you're heading home on the 13th , you'll miss 2 days at the Hayride , which looks like its gonna be pretty special ...
thanks for all the great information everyone, I updated my profile so you might recognize me when I get there. I'll be pming all you guys, you have been soooo helpful!! I really would be lost without the HAMB, lost in England somewhere probably, thanks and keep posting or PM me!
nice outfit on your profile cherry but please don't try wearing that in London lol you may well get arrested..................LMAO....................Marq
Not if you were naked, in 6 inch heels, with only red lipstick to hide your face. They*****.........but if you have NO self preservation, you can make a total**** of yourself! King's Crossing? Don't hang out at ANY of the Underground stations! Only creepy men and wierdo's (wait what's the difference?) hang out there! And don't wear shoes like that on cobblestone.....can't tell ya how many times I went skating down a street on wet cobblestone! But the clubs are good, they close at 5 in the AM......unlike pubs which close at 11. xxx Brandy
6 inch heels and cobble stone ? No problem ! Shit , I just said that out loud didn't I ? I'll get my coat ...
Ace Cafe London is an good address! Check their website out. Another one www.rockthejoint.com I heard Robin is going to organize something again (but that'll be at Ealing - okay not too far away). You're an art student? loads of good art museums and galleries. You'll love it.
Only about 80 miles , take you an hour and a half tops . Don't forget if you're wanting to be on site all wknd you need to pre-book , http://www.victorywheelers.co.uk/ See ya there
All part of the service my dear . Thorney Island ; It's not really an island , and there's not many thorns on it ...
