i really need to invest in a camera... i got a "stock" '29 sedan model... chopped it,a scale of about 8"(yea it's a LOT) channeled it almost to the table('bout a milimeter off table)... bend up some really cool pipes..... "suicided" the front end..... satin black, with "blood" spattered in very strategic places...... it's the death ride..... Prime...
This is one of my favorite annual post here on the HAMB but I never get to contribute. I have a ton of models, but haven't touched any in years, so I thought I would toss up some of my favorites from my 1/64 collection.
Slowly getting through this, finishing off the chop...rounded the front corners, shaved door handles/emblems, Gonna leave the rest of the pretty stock, thinking caddy mill or nailhead if i can find one. '55 chev is chopped slightly, rolled front pan and smoothed front with tube grille, rear bumper flipped upside down and brought into the body. Fucking horrible wheels but i think they suit this.
Ok i'm a day late but here's what i'm hacking on. It's a 31 ford sedan 1/16 scale. It's going to be rusty and crusty! Enjoy! Keith more pics here http://public.fotki.com/Keith__Shannan/keiths_model_car/116_scale_models/1931_ford_minicraft-1/
Thats thing is cool....... nothing new here. actually, there sorta is.....will take pictures in a few minutes.
You guys are doing some real nice work !.... Be fun to start building again ... God, one more distraction .....
Still really liking that roadster 1load. Started working on "Stargazer" again. '60 Starliner with the bubbletop from an AMT '58 (?) Thunderbird kit.
I had to pull this one out to shoot some pics of the trunk before I eBay it next week. The lettering is gold-foil decal, but the mural itself was done by an airbrush artist buddy nearly ten-years ago over the top of my first candy/pearl/fog paint job. Juan went off and joined the Army after this was painted. Back then he was getting $100 a shot, airbrushing murals on Hot Wheels. Wonder what ever happened to him...
