Well, I have been working on the willys for almost 10 months now, it has been down to the bare frame and built back up since july 30,2004. I got to drive it for the first time last saturday, it ran, drove and rode great! I have built a lot of cars just none from the bare frame, it is a great feeling taking it out for the first time. I got the windshield put in monday and I am planning on driving it to a show sat., to test it out on a 100 mile journey[IMG]

Nothing like a maiden voyage. Have gobs of fun. By the way, I bought a '40 Willys Pickup 40 years ago and brought it home to find my draft notice waiting for me. That wasn't quite as fun. Wayno

Nice looking truck. Congrats on getting it finished. Now use the rest of the summer trying to wear it out. :)

Thanks guys for all the good comments, well the truck is not finished exactly, but it is drivable and that is what I am going to do is drive it while I do a lot of finishing touches. I am going to save the big projects , like putting air and heat in it for the winter.I am thinking about putting some salt flat wheels on it or maybe some chrome steelies.
