    POR 15 prep question:
After using the POR 15 "Metal Ready" prep/etch, a significant amount of powdery stuff (Zinc Phosphate?) is left on the surface even after a vigorous hose down with fresh water.. Is it necessary to remove this before the POR 15 paint is slapped on ?. Can I paint over it ?.
I don't remember this much last time I used this stuff but the underbody I'm working on has everything from flaky rust to clean nice panel areas.

If I do have to remove it, what's the best way?..

    Thanks - Powerband

You should be fine painting over it after you have neutralized it with the water..

Sure hope you roughed up those nice pannel areas, or that POR 15 Will peal off of it in about a year or two. Least it did for me. Gene
