Shop manual calls for a J-6100 puller. All I have is a stardard balacer puller. How are you guys getting these off. I have a 3 jaw puller put I'm unsure about using it. It won't be pulling on the metal ring, only the pully portion that is cast as one with the snout. Thanks ahead John

I've done 2 in the last few months. The 3 jaw will be fine. But line each jaw up perfect with the 3 spokes of the pulley. Make sure it's a straight pull, with the puller screw staying in the exact center.

The 2 I did were a very light pull.
