My dad has them in his T-bucket and a buddy is putting them in the car he is building. They work good, and are pretty accurate, when installed they look good but when holding them in your hand they feel kinda chinsey and cheap. Hard to explain but that's just how I feel. Like I said they work just fine and look ok as well.
i have them in my 32 (album) and very happy. not a lot of running time on them but so far great. had a friend who bt set and had problem w/ one and was replaced immediately w/o h***le!
I got a set, but the temp and oil pressure gauges are slightly off. Temp gauge reads 20 degrees too low and the oil pressure gauge reads 5 lbs too low.

I have a set in my 32 coupe ,they work great .Ihave one complaint .the light in my spedo is not the same looking as all the other gauges .It is much brighter than the others .when inquiring to the maker about it they stated they knew of the problem but had no remedy for me at that time .they stated ,try some other lamps never offered to send me a replacment light. No big deal to me I fixed it myself just didnt like there service attatude...
Im not trying to hate here but seriously? I am super comfortable with my ***uality and my man hood but Dolphin? really? makes me think of girls with dolphin tattoos on their ankles and faries on their shoulders... Im not saying that gauges have to be manly or anything but dolphin just seems a little silly to me. okay, thats all, sorry for my unwarrented opinions, I just had to get that out as I have kept that in for about 10 years now
I have a set, they are what you pay for. They are cheap and feel cheesy, but they look decent and are perfect for a budget build imo. If you are looking for highest quality buy autometer. I would buy them again
i had a buddy who put them in a street rod. he seemed to like them, but i thought they looked a little off. but hey as long as he liked them
The Unicorn guages are much more marvey! Ordered some for a customer when they came out. Built like a Dixie cup.
Yep...perfect for 'street rods'...although Street Rod Elitists might cringe at the low price. Color makeup goes right with the teal and pink tones, however...Next time you see a car with them, observe the driver: look for white shoes and matching belt.
Absolute junk with poor to no customer service. Invest some money in quality and go to Cl***ic Instruments.
I have seen them before and didn't care for how the quality looked . They look and feel very cheap made to me . Then having a kool hotrod with little fish on gauges really doesn't sound right , now does it ? I always look at it this way , something is cheap for a reason ! Pay a little more for better quality gauges . That is just one of those things you don't want to be cheap with . Just my opinion . Retro Jim
Didnt I see the "New Vintage" guy on here .... i was thinking of his stuff for my OT jeep ... there's a hamb discount i think http://www.newvintageusa.com/
My feelings have been spoken and I didn't even have to strike a key... If your real broke get some S/W standard series gauges and at least keep your manly dignity! If I had to look at that ****y Dolphin logo for 10,000 miles I'd....
I've got 2 sets of Dolphin's in 2 of my cars. Excellent functioning units. Their customer service is terrific too. Had a minor glitch in the last build and they responded very fairly and quickly. Great company!
I spent some big money to have Steward/Warner guages in my 26-T (made in Mexico) & they don't look or work any different than the Dolfin guages in my 54 truck.
Hey, you ****head!! You made me spit coffee on my 'puter! I'm still laughin about that light That's some funny **** right there.
