without more details, pics it is anybody's guess. take lots of cash. do an online general search for those type of cars For Sale to get a ball park idea on current market value. I have a chance to win the State Lottery, just need to know what the winning numbers will be.

Bottom dollar would be one dollar each.

You might try giving a little bit better description of each vehicle, how complete they are, etc.

Soooooo..... you want people to drop a price on cars they have not seen? That would be quite hard, my friend. Quite hard indeed.

I'm sure that you all never get excited about an opertuinity to buy. I'm also sure that you would never give an idea of what you would offer on a car unseen in person just cause everybody's watching doesn't mean you can't give a little help like I said I havnt seen them........ Thanks?

Well, what do you expect ? How could we possibly value something when we have absolutely no information....Is the merc a two door, coupe, sedan, four door ??? Same for the Lincoln ??? Are they driver's or parts cars, or are they somewhere inbetween ???

My guess, so far, based on the information given, they're worth somewhere between $5.00 and $75,000 each, you may get then cheaper in a package deal.

I guess I would research all 3 vehicles starting at grade 5 and going on up to about grade 3. You can find the grade system in Hemmings and appraisor sytems. Then set a price for all 3 grades on all three cars. You could go to grade 2 if you want but I doubt if they are going to be grade 2s,This will at least give you some guidance when the heats on and the guy wants an offer and you have to make a quick decision.

Technology has made things like this much easier....

3G (or 4G) lectro-bits while you are there allow real time research WHILE you have an idea on condition.

First op,you said it took 2-years to do this and you could have done a little more research on the dang cars. But you come on here and act all pissy because guys can't look into their crystal ball and give you a price on something unseen. No pictures they don't exist. If you want the things buy them,if not don't. Your request for info is like asking what color your car is but don't have any pictures to post.

Thanks big brad you've helped so much. The color does matter, I hope it's black that's worth more right. Wow. And for your info, when someone says the're not selling anything they have, then why would I research what it's worth?? I'm not pissy about not having found out an exact price, that's not possible. It's about ****s being ****s for no reason than to feel superior online. It's last minute trying to get a little help from other roders, not online heros

    camojams,
Try this, take each car that you think you can buy and do a search on here, Craigslist, and on E-bay. Do search and see what they are actually selling for, or at least being asked for. Notice that 2 doors are always more expensive than four doors, too. A four door can sometimes be worth a fraction of a comperable two door. Without more, not one of us can tell you what a car is worth, period.

    Here's the deal man.

He sounds like a private guy, you said it's taken two years just to get a look and he won't let you take pictures.

I'd suggest that you not lowball the guy or he'll just tell you to go F--- yourself.

Ask him for a fair price and see what he has to offer.

Most guys selling cars have a reasonable price in mind but they tend to put the brakes on pretty quick when someone starts working them over.

Remember, YOU asked to see HIS cars, you WANT to buy but he doesn't have to sell. That is going to cost you a few bucks right there.

I ***ume you haven't been in this game very long, otherwise you kind of know a good deal when you see it.
IF this is the case, take someone knowledgable that you trust that won't try to get in on the deal behind your back. And heed their advice.
I think under the cir***stances, that is the best you can do.
