Hey guy's i'm looking to see if you know of a good source of information for all the swap meets happening in california in 2012? thanks!
Long Beach swap meet this Sunday the 7th and on the 29th. Check out this web site. http://www.socalcarculture.com/
I will be at Turlock, hunting down rusty old crap I don't need. Well, actually, I do need some of it. Anyone got a couple '42 radius rod caps? The steel ones? I'll give you a dollar! Sam, you've been going to the Turlock Swap since you were a fetus haven't you? Stockton Fairgrounds frequently has swaps and there's one at the Arco Arena in Sac-o-tomatoes twice a year. There's an all Ford one in Campbell at the Old Ford Store, I've missed that one the last few years.
http://www.socalcarculture.com/events.html Here's a list that usually has everything going on in SoCal. Hope it helps brother.
Selma Ca Swap Meet / Saturday March 3rd 2012, great swap meet for the central valley and great prices! http://www.selmaswap.com/index.htm
Hey man, I am after the same thing .... a listing of ALL California swapmeets ..... does anytone got a line on listings? There are alot of neat small swapmeets that always seem to get overlooked.
The only one I know of in your area is called the "Reno Swap Meet" (held in Sacramento, it used to be held in Reno). Search the archives. From what I have heard it sounds like a good one. Charlie Stephens
"Reno" - come Sacramento Swap Meet is April 22. Good swap indeed. If you have never been to the Portland Swap Meet its WELL worth the drive up. April 13-15.
I use several sources for car shows and swap meet events: www.hubcapcafe.com www.oldride.com www.baybombs.com Drive Magazine word of mouth
Depending on where you are in CA, there are often swaps that are closer out of state. Nature of the beast. Hey, maybe you can fill the niche and compile this for all your fellow swappers! Big3 is coming to San Diego next month...
the best source for Nor Cal swaps is the Cruisin News. kind of expensive for a monthly newspaper though.
Is that vintage swap meet still going on at the stick? I think the Jimmys picnic folks tried getting one off the ground about five years ago ... I went then but have never heard of repeats.
