I am not sure if I am allowed to post eBay links or not so if I am not feel free to delete the post. I found this chopped Shoebox online and it says buy it now $7,900. At the end he says it is a typo in the price. At the beginning he said price dropped to $600. So was it $790 then dropped to $600. That seems increadibly cheap for a bad*** chopped kustom. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Ford...0581834?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item19cc3ab4ca
He says he dropped the price $600 (I would ***ume he means he took $600 off the asking price)not to $600.
I stand corrected. I hate to even look at those in case someone managed to slip through a phony listing.
There was a scam on e-bay a few months ago selling a race car. After communicating with the seller, he requested payment via direct bank transfer. I had a friend in the area listed for the sale and he could not locate the car. 1st clue. Once the auction ended, a bank account number to transfer the money to was e-mailed to me. Then about 3 hours later, another account number e-mailed and so on. E-bay was advised of this, the account for the seller had been hijacked and the authorities were on their way to Florida. CYA, John
That's why if I'm buying a part I scour the HAMB first and if I can't find it on here I then resort to eBay. I have only been ****ed over once on the HAMB.
