If read right, you're doing a 'gl*** Auburn. This is my opinion but tht's pretty much a 1 color car. Many of the 'gl*** cars are done in 2 colors and I'm also guilty of doing one that way once. If you're set on 2 colors I won't dis your choice, but those cars, real or 'gl***, really like a dark and elegant color. Imagine a super dark blue. 1984-5-6 Chrysler "Nigh****ch Blue" would be a good choice. A light tan interior and cream pinstripes, voila. Cl***y finish. As crazy as it sounds to one's imagination, a rawhide interior would rock too. Darker colors on cars like that tend to enhance the cars length. A really dark green would work as well, and perhaps a non-metallic very dark charcoal with either dove grey or silver pintripes.

I have always been partial to green and white, and Emerald Tide is a great example.

Black and gun metal grey. Black has to be on top to give it a lower appearance. Done- order the paint.

Burgundy and black, with a blue based black, so it picks up the blue undertones in the burgundy. If cl***y is what your after, thats it for me.

I'm glad you brought that up JAM. Most cars have dark fenders and light bodies. From the start I have been thinking light fenders and dark body. Must say I'm leaning towards white with electric blue candy body or light tan with hunter green body.

Falcongeorge, I'll have to remember that tip for future builds.
