383 stroker engine

    I have a question i`m planning to build a 383 mopar stroker engine and i like to no how mutch horsepower can i get out of it?

    Engine specs:383hp steel crank high compression pistons 0.30 overbore 11:1 compresion highdraulic cam 520 lift roller rockers and standard 906 heads 750cfm carb

    When you say stroker how much are you stroking it over the stock stroke?

    With a standard 383 stroke and the combination you mentioned I would think you could expect 350-375 hp pretty easy.

    A 383 hi-comp full roller should be closer to 500hp at the fly wheel...

    and if you stroke it and use a turbo encabulator, you can make over 2000.

    More details are needed.

    a 383 with all of the parts you listed does not a stroker make.... (use a yoda voice to read that)

    It might help if you take a step back and explain to us exactly what block you are starting with?

    A factory Mopar 383 is not a "stroker" though unless you Put a "stroker" crankshaft in it to increase the "stroke".
    A 383 Stroker motor is normally a 350 Chevy block bored .060 over with a modified or aftermarket 400 crank in it. At least when you read about a US built hot rod or modified car with a "383 stroker" in it that is what it has.

    Now, what exactly do you have? A high performance 383 Mopar?

    .30 over for 383, i have a a 383sbc in my car.aftermarket 400, crank,6'' rods.10:25 compression, internaly balanced, .dart 215 heads ,comp roller rockers,solid cam 565 lift 265 duration. 3500 stall,dont know how much power its putting out,but will push my car into the high 11s,
